Aonyx were commissioned to work with a partner Mechanical & Electrical Contractor to design, supply, install and commission a high specification AV & Home Automation solution for this Ultra Prime Boutique collection of 5 Townhouses and 10 apartments in the exclusive Bayswater Area of Central London.

Having successfully completed a number of successful projects together over the years, the partnership turned their attention toward the unique features and challenges of this exciting and exclusive Development. Overlooking one of London’s iconic Garden Squares, the project comprised the complete renovation and refurbishment of 5 stucco fronted houses and the construction of a new double basement to create a Super Prime Central London address.
The brief was to create a seamless technology solution for The Residents, Concierge and Estates Management Team, in keeping with the grand historic architecture, interior design scheme and listed status of the development. A completely customised solution was designed in tandem with the Client, Architects, M&E Contractor and Main Contractor to offer all the advantages and convenience of modern technology, discreetly and sympathetically woven into the historic fabric of the building.
Features of the system include the integration of a custom BMS (Building Management System) to monitor and maintain the environmental controls whilst aiding sustainability by conveniently displaying energy metering feedback to Residents via the Control4 Home Automation systems in each Apartment and Townhouse. Other enticing features include integrated Smart Lighting, Shades and AV throughout the complex and a multi-region Satellite and Aerial distribution (F-IRS) system.
A fully integrated ‘Secure by Design’, cutting edge Door Entry, Access Control, Lift Integration and CCTV solution was also implemented to give the discerning clientele the utmost peace of mind when either at home or away. A futureproof fibre optic data infrastructure was deployed throughout the building to ensure that the development is well placed to take advantage of whatever new technological advances may arise, for years to come.
